Preferred Education, Experience, and Certifications:
-High School Diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, MVR check, criminal background check and post-offer physical agility exam and post-offer random drug screens.
-Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
-Have clean background and able to get on all military bases
-Prior Traffic Control experience & certification REQUIRED
-Must have good driving record!

Role and Responsibilities:
-Maintain a clean and organized yard.
-Pull and prepare orders for deliveries and set-ups.
-Install various types of traffic control devices including signs, 4×4 & 6×6 wood post, & permanent signs.
-Deliver and pick-up rental and sale equipment to traffic control customers
-Set-up traffic control closures on roadways according to the Work Area Protection Manual.
-Maintain a high level of safety at all times while working in the street as well as in the yard.
Additional job responsibilities:
Occasionally help sign division with overflow on sign order production and sign installation
Other Important Duties:
•Must work overtime as required.
•May be required to work weekends, after hours and special events.
•Maintain access to ports, bases and other limited access facilities
•Travels to job sites and to attend meetings, conferences and training.
•Provides support and assistance to other departments as assigned.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.
•Regular and consistent attendance for the assigned work hours is essential.
